　　文中的phubbing就是“低頭癥”的意思。phubbing，是phone+snubbing組成的合成詞，與之類似的有：Chinglish=Chinese+English(中國式英語);sexting=sex+texting(色情短信)和manny=male+nanny(男保姆)等。

　　第一段中出現的Facebook、Instagram、Foursquare均是國外的知名社交網站，其中Facebook即所謂的“臉譜”網，Instagram是知名的照片分享網站，Foursquare是知名的地理位置分享網站。此外Tweet就是用戶發到Twitter上的信息，而Twitter(推特)相當于中國的微博。
